Comasters focuses on products and services that relate to improving the journey through adulthood, the end-of-life experience, death itself and memory preservation.
Comasters offers an incubation-like program, a structure geared specifically towards helping products and services in these areas refine their offerings, grow their business and define their market and strategy.
Comasters typically exchanges a small percentage (yes—very small and always a minority) of ownership of your business in exchange for participation into the program. Comasters’ goal is to become a partner with your business; with everyone helping grow the business so that it is a success for everyone.
Our program is tailored specifically to your company and begins with an intensive immersion conference. The immersion is important to the process to make sure that everyone believes in the plan and the partners. The partners Comasters offers are Cole Imperi and Poul Lemasters. Immersions cover a variety of topics and are tailored to your specific business. Almost all include a full review and update to your website, a competitor analysis, a complete brand guide and brand toolbox, review of all content and marketing copy, a full legal analysis of your business and complete review of all documentation. Your marketing and legal needs will be reviewed completely, and a plan of action for moving forward together will be established with clearly defined roles and tasks.
About Poul Lemasters
Poul began his career in deathcare as a funeral director and embalmer more than 20 years ago. However, he soon realized that the growing risk and liability in the profession combined with an overall lack of support and resources made for a deadly combination. This lead Poul to a landmark decision in his life: he decided to go to law school—and he passed!
Today, Poul uses his unique background in deathcare and law to provide resources and counsel to other deathcare professionals. He regularly receives calls from those seeking assistance in risk management, daily operational conflicts, form and contract reviews, valuations, and regulatory matters. Poul advises both national and state-specific funeral home, crematory, cemetery, and trade associations across the United States. In addition, he shares his expertise with others in the profession in his role as Cremation Coordinator and Advisor for ICCFA’s Cremation Education Program.
Poul is recognized as an expert in deathcare and regularly speaks, consults, educates, and advises on deathcare issues throughout the US and abroad.
